The project
Crazy Egg's main competitor took the lead and released features that left the company a little behind in terms of features for its users.
After adding three features, they needed to make sure that customers used them all.
Objective
Encourage users to use all new features of Crazy Egg.
How it was done
As a senior UX designer working remotely, my tasks included:
- Benchmarking, including usability test on the competition
- Creation of KPIs.
- Documentation and sharing of benchmarking made in Confluence
- Brainstorm of possible features with multidisciplinary team;
- Prioritization of features according to impact and feasibility;
- Creation of MVP;
- User Journeys;
- Low fidelity prototype using InVision free-hand;
- High fidelity prototype;
- Live Usability Test
- Constant Improvement
Result
I left the project in the constant improvement cycle. The number of users using all features had increased 5%;
The KPIs set were:
- Number of current users that would use the use both new features at least one time.
